The North West is a very remote and undeveloped region that offers the country`s finest mountain scenery. It also offers the best chance to meet colorful and varied ethnic minorities ( also refer to as hill tribes or Montagnard ), whose traditions have been the least affected by the modern way of life.

Therefore it offers tourists many of the its most spectacular scenery. The mountainous areas are home to many distinct hill-tribes. It is a highlight for Trekking & Adventure Tours, home stay ;an ideal destination for the tourists who is extremely want to discover the new lands.

The most interesting journey of all are done by 4WD Jeep or motorbikes. You will find yourselves through beautiful mountains and high plains inhabited by minority people notably the Black Thai, White Thai, Red H’mong, Flower H’mong, Black H’mong, Red Dzao, Tay , Nung, Ha Nhi….

Day 01 : Ninh Binh – Mai Chau ( L – D )
After breakfast, meet tour guide then get on 4WD Car to Mai Chau. The road ride takes 4 hours to Mai Chau with some stops on the way for viewing wonderful landscapes. Mai Chau is a beautiful valley, 135kms north-west of Ninh Binh. This is one of the closest places to Ninh Binh where you can see real “Montagnard” villages.
It is a complex of villages, farms and huts spread out over a large valley surrounded by mountains. The main inhabitant is the Ethnic White Thai, which is considered to be distantly related to tribes in Thailand, Laos and China. Having dinner and home staying in stilt house in Lac village.

Day 02 : Mai Chau – Son La – Tuan Giao. ( B – L – D ) 
After breakfast, walking around the village. From here you’ll carry on to Tuan Giao via Son La. Lunch at Son La.On the way, we stop at Moc Chau, Thuan Chau towns and some different villages along the road to see the Black Thai ethnic minority. O/N at Tuan Giao.


Day 03: Tuan Giao – Dien Bien Phu – Muong Lay – Phong Tho ( B – L – D )
Perfectly for a small walk to visit the market in the morning before your departure to Lai Chau for the night. You’ll enjoy the picturesque scenery as you pass the villages of Black Thai, White Thai, Red H’Mong, Black Dzao people.

Day 04 : Phong Tho (Lai Chau) – Tam Duong – SaPa ( B – L – D )
After Breakfast,the drive to Tam Duong is stunning with tiered tea plantations and verdant rice terraces carved into the landscape. Visit the villages of Back Dzao, Flower H.Mong people, pass through Binh Lu valley, up over the 1900 meter Tram Ton pass, considered the most beautiful stretch of road in Vietnam.Check in hotel in Sa Pa.

Day 05 : SaPa Trek – Homestay in Ta Van village ( B – L – D )
Full trekking day to the most beautiful Muong Hoa valley where home of Black Hmong, Dzay, Red Dzao and Tay hill tribe. Visit the village of Black H`Mong tribe at Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai. Then continue treking to TaVan where we have a home stay there with a Dzay family.

Day 06 : Trek – SaPa market – Return Hanoi. ( B – L – D ) 
Continue trekking to Giang Ta Chai where the Red Dzao people living in the foot of mountain, then return Sa Pa by 4WD Jeep or motorbike. Visit Sa Pa traditional market, then get down to Lao Cai for your dinner. After that the guide take you to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Ha Noi (departs at 8:15pm on an A/C soft sleeper class, arrives back in Hanoi at 5:00am). Your adventure trip ends here with a lifetime’s worth of memories.

Note: If you would like to go from Hanoi, we will come to your hotel in Old Quarter of Hanoi to pick you up, and instead of departure from Ninhbinh, paying extra 4WD car at USD30/ per trip
